Program Overview
The Bachelor of Business & Information Technology is a 4-year full-time study program spread over eight semesters. Each semester comprises 18 weeks. Students are offered courses in both Business and Information Technology, blending into a coherent and professional degree program. Courses may be revised by the Academic Council on the recommendations of the Board of Studies, with changes notified before the commencement of the semester in which they take effect.

There are two compulsory examinations in each semester for each course:

In addition to these exams, sessional work including quizzes, classwork, home assignments, class presentations, and class discussions are part of the assessment. Grades are determined by the concerned instructors. If a student fails to appear in any examination, quiz, or fails to submit the semester paper/home assignment on time, they will be awarded zero marks in the respective examination/assignment.

Award of Degree
To be awarded the BBIT (4 years) degree, a student must:

  1. Pass courses totaling at least 130 credits.
  2. Complete an internship and a project under the supervision of a faculty member and submit a detailed project report.
  3. Obtain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 or higher out of a maximum of 4.0.
  4. Fulfill other requirements outlined in the rules & regulations section of the prospectus.
